AQUILEGIAS PUTTING ON A SHOW
I don't recall the aquilegias in my West Yorkshire garden ever putting on such a show as they are doing this year. Mine grow near to a north-facing fence, at the bottom of a gradual slope where the soil tends to be damper. Whatever has caused them to flower so prolifically this year, I am not sure, but I am certainly reaping the benefit. They are so beautiful, and there are many more to come.
